Over a year ago BH/GLAAR partnered with Hollywood area Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell to identify a community cleanup opportunity. We found the perimeter of the Bresee Youth Center was in desperate need of some help. There was a sizable homeless encampment littered with used syringes and human excrement. This was no place for our youth, or anyone else for that matter!

After the tour, BH/GLAAR pledged a cash infusion to help clean up the area for the benefit of the community. One year later, the encampments have given way to a beautiful “learning garden.” The Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of REALTORS® were on hand for the unveiling, as well as local law enforcement, and Councilmember O’Farrell and his team.
