Sustainability is the ability to meet the needs of the present without compromising future generations. The real estate sector contributes a large amount of greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, GLAR must take the lead and play an active role in exploring environmental solutions and risk protection for our industry.

The objective of this work group is to educate members with pragmatic sustainability solutions while also presenting pro-active policy opportunities to share in your businesses. We will use these pragmatic and pro-active solutions and report them back to the Government Affairs Committee (GAC) and recommend them to the Board, when appropriate.
